The Almanac is an in game tool that lets the player browse through all of their unlocked plants and captured critters in order to see the basic information on each.
Critter Almanac
The information shown in the almanac does not include level, bonuses, happiness factor, or any other modification to the critter being viewed. This provides the player with a base in which to make decisions on fair trades, which critters would be the most profitable to upgrade, or which critters would be the best to have multiples of at lower levels.
Plant Almanac
The information in the almanac for plants is currently somewhat limited. At this time all that is provided is the type of plant and the food production bonus the plant provides.
